For Dave Sandersfeld, Southern Minnesota has always been a portrait of home. And home is where the heart of his sound lies. With meandering melodic guitar runs and heartfelt lyricism, his songwriting style evokes the gently rolling plains and deep lakes he so greatly treasures.

Born and raised in Mankato, Minnesota just sixty miles south of the Twin Cities, Dave first gained momentum in 2017 with the release of his debut album Better Than This with nods from notable publications like WCCO Radio, KFAI, and 93X.

During the pandemic, Dave took the pause as an opportunity to find new inspiration and the uncertain terrain gave life to new melodies. He has since released his second album, Somewhere in the Dark and singles, You're the One, and Just Like Home. The two singles have been on rotation with more than 50 radio stations across the country and have received one-hundred thousand plus listens on YouTube.

After sharing stage with notable national acts such as JS Ondara, Thomas Abban, Everclear, Sugar Ray, and Lizzo, Sandersfeld's careful voice and soothing guitar are moving audiences in a continually growing fan base across the country.

“Sandersfeld’s careful voice and soothing guitar bathe in emotional flourishes, and his bare-bones, confessional style only adds to the intimacy.”
